Special Agent Sandra Flint is a 27 year veteran of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, entering on duty in January 1991. Prior to joining the FBI, she served as a Deputy District Attorney with the 7th Judicial District of Colorado. Early in her career, SA Flint began serving as a Crisis Manager collateral to her investigative duties, and became Portland's Primary Crisis Management Coordinator not long after 9/11. Following 16 years in White Collar investigations, SA Flint began serving in the FBI's training and development program. She is FBI Portland's Training, National Academy, and Crisis Management Coordinator, is a firearms instructor, and Adjunct Faculty at Corban University in Salem, Oregon. She serves as FBI Portland’s representative to the National Active Shooter Initiative, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 268.

Jim Walton-Vice President Business Development
Jim Walton has worked for Regence BCBS of Oregon for over 10 years and currently serves as Vice-President of Business Development. Prior to Regence he served as Benefits Manager for the Timber Operators Council (TOC) Benefit Trust covering over 200 wood product companies with 20,000 covered lives. He has also worked for PacifiCare of Oregon in various sales leadership roles. Jim served as Chairman for the Oregon Purchaser Coalition and also co-chaired a governor’s task force on prescription drugs. He served on the board of directors for Make a Wish Oregon for 6 years and is currently a board member of The Dougy Center.
Sue Melone is the Organizational Culture and Talent Development Leader at Cambia Health Solutions. Sue helps teams deliver record-breaking results by providing professional consulting, coaching and training services to leaders and teams in Idaho, Utah, Washington and Oregon.
Sue has experience as a leader in government and Fortune 500 companies that spans over 25 years. She served as an active duty Army officer for more than 10 years and has lead a variety of business teams for Fortune 500 companies Weyerhaeuser, Owens Corning, and Nike. She is the founder and President of Boldtrek, Inc., a business performance improvement company based in Portland, Oregon. Her consulting clients include Nike, Verizon, PacifiCorp and Portland Community College.
Sue holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Oregon State University. She is an Adjunct Professor at Oregon State University, a certified business coach and leadership instructor. Sue serves a variety of non-profit organizations that support kids, animals and the planet. When she is not doing the work she loves, Sue is somewhere outdoors hiking, kayaking, or playing with her cute black lab, Birch.
Laurie Grenya, SPHR, Co-President with over 15 years of human resources experience in the public sector. Laurie has extensive knowledge and understanding of compensation work and Human Resource management for all sizes of government agencies. Laurie’s skills include salary surveys, classification and position description development, Human Resource system management, project planning, training, staffing and recruitment, organizational design, labor contract negotiations, interest arbitration and mediation. Laurie has extensive experience working with executive, management and staff in group settings and one-on-one meetings to explain and exchange information or facilitate discussions. Laurie has served as an expert witness in arbitration hearings and supported Attorneys in case development and settlement discussions. Laurie is truly an expert in public sector organization compensation and has literally worked on more than one hundred compensation projects. Laurie has a passion for effective management and has a keen eye for alternative solutions within best practice and acceptable risk.
Outside of work Laurie enjoys spending time with her husband of 20+ years and watching the success of their two adult children Rachelle and Brandon. A good deal of her time is spent in the kitchen baking under the watchful eyes of three pugs; Yoda, Princess Leah and Yaddle (and she isn’t even a Star Wars fan). Oh, if you spy her without a Starbucks cup, the world may have actually ended without your knowledge!
Keith Forrester joined Kaiser Permanente Northwest in 2009 and is responsible for developing and implementing the Northwest Region’s sales, marketing, and business development strategy to position the company as a health care leader in the Oregon and Washington market. This includes oversight of product development, market research and strategy, Medicare, Medicaid, underwriting and pricing, and the Sales and Marketing teams. Prior to his current role, he served as Kaiser Permanente Northwest’s senior director of Large Group Sales and Account Management. Before joining Kaiser Permanente Northwest, Keith served in sales and operations leadership roles at Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, The Standard, and Prudential Insurance. Keith graduated with an MBA from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University. He earned the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist designation from the Wharton School of Business in 1995. And he completed Kaiser Permanente’s Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School in 2013. Keith is an avid golfer and bike rider, and he enjoys traveling and scuba-diving vacations. He serves on the boards of Health Share of Oregon and the Columbia River Economic Development Council.
Janet Trautwein is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) in Washington, D.C. NAHU represents more than 100,000 employee benefits professionals involved in the design, sale, implementation and management of health plans all over the United States. Her responsibilities include oversight of all NAHU activities and primary representation of the association to the media, government agencies and elected officials at all levels. Prior to becoming the CEO of NAHU in 2005, Janet served for many years as the head of NAHU's government affairs department, working with members of Congress, senior government officials, governors, and state legislators, and directing the government and political affairs of the organization. A frequent speaker on health policy issues, Janet is considered an expert in health insurance markets and health plans of all sizes and frequently testifies before Congress on these issues. Her expertise in issues related to the uninsured, health insurance pools, risk and reinsurance pooling, health related tax issues, and both national and global health reform has been recognized throughout the industry. Janet has been published in major newspapers, including The Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Los Angeles Times and has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs around the world.
Christine M. Moehl's practice is limited to legal matters related to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), including both health care plans and qualified retirement plans. Christine assists public and private sector plan sponsors, third-party administrators and investment professionals in all aspects of establishing and operating employee benefit plans. She is particularly adept at designing health and retirement plans to fit the individual needs of her clients, as well as assisting plan sponsors and fiduciaries in complying with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and Health Care Reform. She also has extensive experience in guiding clients through the process of correcting plan administration errors through the IRS Employee Plans Correction Resolution System ("EPCRS").
Christine is a Board Member and Program Chair of the Western Benefits Conference and she is a frequent speaker on employee benefits topics. She was selected by her peers for inclusion in Super Lawyers-Rising Stars(r) .
